Originally from Utah, Dr. David Anthony received his BS in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University, before continuing on at USU for his Doctorate of Audiology. His primary area of research was the identification and prevention of occupational and recreational noise-induced hearing loss. Dr. Anthony received his Au.D. from Utah State University, and finished his 4th year residency at Main Line Audiology in Philadelphia, PA.
Following his residency, he lived and worked in Philadelphia for several years, where he met and married his wife Brittany, before joining Sound Advice Hearing Doctors in Joplin in 2010. Currently, Dr. Anthony enjoys working with a wide variety of patients from pediatric to geriatric and everyone in between, and is ready to work with the latest hearing aid technology to provide for each patient’s specific needs.
Dr. Anthony loves spending time at home with his wife and three kids; enjoys spending time outdoors, misses the phrase “Stockton to Malone,” and is always looking to add to his PEZ collection of almost 1000 different dispensers.
